See what people are saying about some of my work:

“With this fun, noir-tinged thriller, the first in the Last Stop Station series, Barber (1636: Mission to the Mughals) and Ezell (The Worlds Asunder) weave together intrigue, action, and romance, all with a hard-boiled sensibility. Years after humanity lost control of Earth in an intergalactic war, ex-soldier Ralston Muck makes a living as a nightclub bouncer on the space station Last Stop, where he depends on illicit treatments to keep his military modifications in working order. When Siren, a popular entertainer at the club, is kidnapped, her AI enhancement, Angel, is ripped from her body and takes refuge with Muck. Now the unlikely duo must discover what happened to Siren, delving into alien societies and the criminal underworld. As Muck and Angel narrowly escape certain doom time and again while edging closer to the heart of a deadly conspiracy, they develop a surprisingly tight bond. Meanwhile, the AIs that control Last Stop are experiencing new emotions and sensations, leading to unprecedented changes in behavior. The authors expertly contrast claustrophobic interiors and the vastness of space, creating a world that feels both alien and lived-in. Readers will be hooked. Agent: Justin Bell, Spectrum Literary. “…The hard-earned happy ending of Kacey Ezell’s thoughtful “No Greater Love” actually comes as something of a relief given the easy joy that precedes and follows it.” – Publisher’s Weekly

“The brilliance of her dialogue between alien species is ONE of the reasons [Ezell’s] work is so compelling.” – Pat Patterson, Internet Reviewer
“I can sincerely say that I don’t remember ever having the urge to set the book aside and piece everything together like one of those cork-board-and-string conspiracy theorists, or had a genuine emotional reaction as everything came together in the end. This was a great pleasure to read” – Amazon Reviewer
“Ezell and Wolf outdid themselves and I hope that this is not the last we see of Reow’s clan or at least of the Depik society and Khatash from them.” – Michael C., Amazon Reviewer
“Wow! This book was superb! I’m currently in the middle of a move out of the country and every time I had to put this book down to adult it drove me nuts. I had to know what happened next! I loved how the book was written from multiple characters’ perspectives. Each time I was thinking that I wanted to know more about what was happening “over there” I did. It was almost like Marissa and Kacey were reading my mind!” -Bookworm 027, Amazon and Goodreads Reviewer

“Do not start this book late. My wife was very grumpy with me when I was still up at 2:00 AM finishing it. She was even more grumpy the next day, after I loaned it to her and she was still up at 2:30 AM the next morning finishing it herself.” – Amazon Customer
“I love MINDS OF MEN.” – D. J. Butler, bestselling author of Witchy Eye
“Minds of Men is even better than her published short fiction. The quintessential ‘flow’ that a good novel must have is not only there, it sucks you in faster and harder than one of her psychic webs.” – Jesse Barret, Amazon Reviewer
“It’s a real pleasure when you pick up a story written with the kind of power and art that indicate the author’s heart was truly in the telling. Drawing on both her personal experience as an aviator in the USAF and painstaking research, Kacey Ezell crafts an unique, and uniquely valuable secret history tale revolving around the employment of women with psychic powers in World War Two.” – Justin Thomas Watson, Amazon Reviewer

“Mike and the other authors bring use comedy and tragedy, nobility and perfidy to offer us a glimpse into the ethos of the soldier and what it means to stand in the breach to serve and protect the ones they love.” – Travis G. Beck, Amazon Reviewer
“With no prejudice, I was blown away by this collection. The short stories themselves are consistently of high quality. Well written, action packed, and with great characters.” – Amazon Customer

“Since I purchased it, I’ve reread it many times and discovered many deeper layers and meanings on some of the things written. It has become a staple when I need inspiration for my own writing.” – Joseph F. Collins, Amazon Reviewer
“They share in these pages the stories of a finely crafted bit of steel, whispered in the hearts of warriors, over centuries in time, and light years in space. Each story is linked to the next by his brief narratives, which are essential to understanding the book as a whole.” – Pat Patterson, Internet Reviewer.

“As many other readers, I found that this was one of the best books in the collection something that does not mean that the others are “bad”, by the way), with Kacey Ezell managing to redo what she had achieved with the Depik cat-like assassins. In other words, the authors manage to make their characters – and Azah the Tortantula in particular – sympathetic. They also manage to present the bonding between giant lethal tank-like spider and its small chipmunk but bright partner as something that gets quite close to love and affection without any of it feeling ridiculous or too far-fetched.
The insights and description of the Tortantulas universe are fascinating, with the smaller males surviving at birth through their speed and cunning and finding a role as masters of special operations. The descriptions of the fight for survival against their peers as soon as Tortantulas are born are particularly gripping.” — JPS, Amazon Top 1000 Reviewer
