So Summer is almost upon us. After this past winter, I wasn’t sure we’d ever get here. 🙂 But sure enough, it’s turning muggy and hot in in the DC area, and my thoughts are turning to “how long before I can get into a pool??!!””
Besides swimming pools, summer is my favorite time of year for another reason… it’s CON season! Although, to be fair, some really great cons occur in the autumn, winter and spring as well. But in my head, summer = cons = LibertyCon!
For those of you who don’t know, LibertyCon is an intentionally small (locked at 750 members!) SciFi/Fantasy Lit convention held in Chattanooga, TN at the end of June. It is, by far, the best networking Con I’ve been to, and has rapidly become a highlight of my year. I went for the first time in 2015, and I’ve been back every year since. I won’t miss it if I can help it!
Memberships are sold out for this year, but if you’re going, here’s my schedule. Please come say hi, get an autograph, or buy a new book! 🙂 I really love meeting all of you, and catching up with those of you I already know. Brandy, the ConChair for Liberty, likes to call it “our family reunion”, and that’s really what it is. I can’t wait! 🙂
